Becoming clean.....

We learnt during the meetings that all of our past, all the wrong we had done or that had been done to us, could be wiped away. I could become completely new and start afresh! 

When I heard this, I wanted it.

"Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life." Romans 6.4

I asked more about the Baptism in water and it was explained more to me. I then made the decision that I wanted to be baptised. I wanted to forget about my past, to let go of everything that did not please God and start afresh with Him, living according to His likeness. April of 2009, I don't forget that date.
