As humans, we are easily impressed by each other. When we see a person who goes beyond our expectations, we get very impressed and naturally reward the person by praising them. With God, this is different. Remember God sees the heart and mind of a person and does not 'reward' them based on what they physically do. You can do so many things to 'impress' God, but lets be serious, how can you impress the person who created you?
Humanly speaking, we can never impress God with the work of our hands, but there is one thing we all have which impresses God and draws His attention : Our Faith. Faith in God requires hope, requires belief, requires Obedience to His Word. This is something that is not common to all humans especially the last part. Now THIS is what impresses God and draws His attention to you.
This year let us increase our value before God, let us draw His attention to us. Don't wait for tomorrow or next month, the time is NOW!
